She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Charles K. Richards and Elizabeth Richards; her brother Kenneth Richards; and her daughter Katherine Guthrie. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Smith; her children, Carlton Guthrie (Jeneane), Charles Guthrie (Mary Benton), Ron Smith (Michelle) and Heather Duffy (Christopher); her siblings, Bill Richards and Martie Richards; and her grandchildren, Juliet, Nadia, Camille, Jack, Charlie, Louise, Brandon, Kelly and Jordan.
