Joyce Gasaway Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Gasaway of Cumming, Georgia, who passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvil Mulkey and Senie Clayton Mulkey; and her siblings, Vernie, Zeke, Tate, Hoover, Clora Moore, Edgel Mulkey, Sophia Chasten Mann and Opal Mulkey.
She is survived by: her husband Wes Gasaway; her sons, Greg (Gail) and Russ (Connie); and her brother Wayne. She is also survived by five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McDonald & Son Funeral Home (150 Sawnee Dr, Cumming, GA 30040). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 4:30 PM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church (10358 GA-52, Ellijay, GA 30536).
