He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Kleen and Dora Kleen; and his in-laws, Herman and Juanita Goode. He is survived by: his sons, James Ernest Kleen II and Brent David Kleen; his wife Carla Kleen; his daughters-in-law, Cheryl Kleen and Lauren Kleen; his grandchildren, Olivia, Chase and Kate; and his sisters, Becky, Janie, Barbara and Linda.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to DAV (Disabled American Veterans - local or National Office), an organization James felt strongly about.
