He was predeceased by: his parents, S. F. "Pete" Hollis and Edna Morris Hollis; his wife Billie Jean Lawler Hollis; and his siblings, Charlie Hollis, Rayburn Hollis, Frank Hollis, Sarah Jones and Helen Gaston.
He is survived by: his daughters, Peggy Williams, Donna Patton (Mark) and Terri Smith (Mark); his grandsons, Nick Pratt (Tosha) and Brandon Godbee (Karissa); his great grandchildren, Whitney Godbee and Alayna Pratt; and his siblings, Christine Wiley, Jane Arrington, Alice Still, Susan Stewart (Frankie) and Hugh Hollis (Lynn).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hightower's Memorial Chapel (12651 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Douglasville, GA 30134). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
