She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Martin and Madge Martin; her husband John Mathis; her son Rex Mathis; her son-in-law Troy Milford; and her siblings, Juanita Shadburn, Opal Mathis, Louise Jones, Eulene Tinsley and Roy Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Milford and Terry Mathis (Diana); her grandchildren, Corey Milford (Elaine), Melissa Vaughan (Tracy), Emily Blackwell (Jaryd) and Chase Mathis (Liz); her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Jamison Milford, Paige, Isabella, Lillian Vaughan, Emilyn, Eastyn Blackwell, Beckham and Palmer Mathis; her siblings, Joyce Seay (Roger), Marie Barnes and Roger Martin (Karen); and her brother-in-law Hugh Tinsley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory (210 Ingram Ave, Cumming, GA 30040). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
