He is survived by: his wife Karen Kuglar Rainey; his children, Caroline Shortnacy (Thomas) of Cumming, GA, Michelle Lee (Gary) of Warner Robins, GA, Stella Jaunsen (Conor) of Duluth, GA, Deletta Gibson (Brian) of Cumming, GA, Harold G Rainey II of Warner Robins, GA and Megan Rainey of Gainesville, FL; his grandchildren, Lola Shortnacy, Lydia Shortnacy, Shannon Jaunsen, Aaron Gibson, Autumn Lee, Andrew Lee and Nicole Rainey; his great grandchildren, Lochlin Jaunsen-Lee, Lilabet Jaunsen-Lee and Jesen Rainey; his siblings, Mary Ann Ransom, Frances Story, Elton Rainey, Robert Rainey (Cristal) and James Rainey (Tracey); and his pet Rocco. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
