Ginnie Whelchel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ginnie Whelchel of Cumming, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Thomas and Mildred Elizabeth Alexander. She is survived by: her daughter Sharon; her son-in-law Mike Moye; her grandchildren, Rachel Parks (Chase), Rebekah Davis (Josh) and Michael Moye Jr. (Elizabeth); and her great grandchildren, Penelope, Eleanora, Jonah, Raley James, Remi Joy, Isaiah and Indie.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brookhaven Presbyterian Church (1294 N Druid Hills Rd, Brookhaven, GA 30319).
In memory of Ginnie's love of family, in lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Brookhaven Presbyterian Church with designation to it's Family Ministry Department.
