“Genie, to you and your kids and grandkids....my most sincere sympathies at this time. George was a stand up guy from the day I met him in September of 1974 at Lewis University. I saw what he was made of working construction jobs with him in the summer of 1975. He'd go all day even in the most brutal heat a Chicago summer had to offer. We survived it on beer and grit. He's going to be missed by everyone who knew him but especially by his cherished family. May he rest in peace with a cold beer”
