Doris Shelton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2025, at the age of 79, Doris Shelton (Cumming, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Lawrence and Agnes Estelle Martin; her husband Billy Jack Shelton; her siblings, Morris, Michael, Sherry and Susan; and her son Steven Clay Shelton.
She is survived by: her sisters, Mitzie (Doug Skiles) and Debbie (Jimmy Weber); her sisters-in-law, Carol Raney (Morris) and Kathy Simmons (Michael); her nieces and nephews, Kippi (Ron Ragan) and Traci (Yolanda Chu); and her grandchildren, Kayleigh Elizabeth Farragut, Taylor Alan Farragut, William Shelton Lanford, Olivia Estelle Lanford, Brady Clay Shelton, Noah Dean Lanford, Siena Shelton and Lillie Shelton. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at the McDonald and Son Funeral Home (150 Sawnee Dr, Cumming, GA 30040). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM and from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Goosepond Presbyterian Church (1155 Hancock Dr E, Scottsboro, AL 35769).
