He was predeceased by: his parents, Hal Stanton Ogletree, Sr. (Hoke) and Melba Taylor Ogletree; and his daughter Nancy Rice. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Gail Short of Crawfordville, GA; his children, Brittanie Taylor Ogletree, Nickie Vining (Steve) and Shelly Thompson (Butch); his grandchildren, Lacey Bryant (Michael), Toby Batson (Doc), Lindsey Channell (Seth), Josh Batson (Amanda), Cory Silvey (Rolanda), Kimberly Rojo (Sinfo) and Dylan Luke Wilson; his great grandchildren, Kiya Bryant, Kaleb Bryant, Brealyn Marable, Avery Channell, Hattie Channell, Conner Silvey, Logan Silvey, Wesley Silvey, Nathan Silvey, Syrus Rojo and Matias Rojo; his sister Bonnie Ogletree Flynt (Ralph Hoke) of Crawfordville, GA; his nephews, Stan Flynt (Petra) of Alpharetta, GA and Scott Flynt of Alpharetta, GA; and his great-nephews, Stanton, Peter and Hoke Flynt. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
The family will hold a Celebration of Hal's Life at Ralph Hoke and Bonnie Flynt's home, 1232 Greensboro Road NW, Crawfordville, GA 30631 on Saturday, June 29th at 1:00 p.m. Any memorials may be made to the Taliaferro County Fire Department, 122 Broad St., Crawfordville, GA 30631.
