She was predeceased by: her stepson William W. Weaver Jr.; and her brother Dr. Charles Deaton Maddox. She is survived by: her husband William H. Joyner of Crawford County; her stepchildren, William Rodney Joyner of Crawford County and Kimberly Dawn Brewer (Larry) of Crawford County; her siblings, Billy Durand Maddox (Alice) of Sanford, NC and Cecile Pozene Menhinick (Edward) of Charlotte, NC; her stepgranddaughter Kirsten Joyner Hood (Joey) of Bolingbroke, GA; and her stepgreat-granddaughter McKenzie Hood. She is also survived by several nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces.
