He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph David and Gladys Black Wheless; and his grandson Christopher Kline Watts. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Sanders Wheless; his children, Kathy Little (Danny) of Crawford, Carolyn Poole (Tim) of Farmington, Tommy Wheless (Carol) of Crawford and Candie Watts (Anthony) of Crawford; his grandchildren, Joey Doolittle, Kyle Little, Jenny Petersen, Josh Poole, Taylor Smith and Beau Watts; his great grandchild Lacie Doolittle; his sister Mary Mathis of Watkinsville; and his nephew Homer Chasteen of Comer.
