With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henry M. Butler of Crawford, Georgia, who passed away on March 14, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Marion and Sarah Virginia Butler; his sister Brenda Eberhart; his wife Joann Butler; his children, Shannon Lee Butler, Kelly Maria Butler (Chris) and Kevin Samuel Butler; his sisters, Diane Morris, Ann Ogle and Linda Eberhart; his grandchildren, Chaselyn Moore, Devin Bryant, Skylar Butler, Nathan Butler, Madison Wages and Kinley Butler; and his great grandchildren, Waylon Moore, Wyatt Moore, Alayna Bryant and Harley Guinn.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lord & Stephens Funeral Homes (4355 Lexington Rd, Athens, GA 30605). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at the Winterville Cemetery.
