He was predeceased by: his parents, George Jones and Ethel Jones; his siblings, Eva Mae Brown, Martha Hester and Lawrence Jones; his grandson Raymond Allen Newman; and his great grandchild Dierks Callaway.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Jones; his children, Barbara (Marion Sullivan), Ruby (Jimmy Holt), Ken (Melinda Jones), Jimmy (Teresa Jones), Cindy (Tony Dykes) and Susan Griffin of Reynolds; and his sisters, Linda Keck of Byron and Sheila Lawless of Macon. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
