He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Lee Green; and his parents, Arnold Green and Mattie Green. He is survived by: his nephews, Rex Jones, Alan Brackett and Brian Smith; and his sister-in-law Viola Green. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Mr. Green had requested that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to Blue Ridge Primitive Baptist Church C/O Greg Smith 540 Norton Bridge Road Chatsworth, Georgia 30705.
