He was predeceased by: his mother Mattie Louise Brinkley Cummings; his parents-in-law, Frank Niner and Kay Lucille Niner; his sister-in-law Beverly Frank; his niece Shelley Rogers; and his nephew Bradley Rogers.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia "Cindy" May Niner Cummings of Crandall, GA.; his father Melvin C. Cummings; his son Alvin Kelly (Kaitlin Bass-Kelly) of Stephenson, AL.; his siblings, Jennifer Rogers of Tunnel Hill, GA., Melody Majors of Dunlap, TN., Amanda Winkler (Jerod) of Dunlap, TN. and Jeff Cummings (Rose) of Richmond, VA.; and his sisters-in-law, Violet Brownfield (Larry Diviney) of Rossville, GA., Ruby Guess (Bobby) of South Pittsburg, TN. and Judy Mathis (Allen Merrell) of Ringgold, GA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
