He is survived by: his wife Connie Melinda Young Winkler of Crandall, GA; his children, Matthew Winkler of Crandall, GA and Rebecca; his son-in-law Jeff Nixon of Crandall, GA; his mother Rosetta Winkler of Chatsworth; his brothers, Bryan (Rose Winkler) and Gary (Sharon Winkler); and his grandchild Avery Nixon. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
