He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Cockburn, Sr. and Grace L. Cockburn. He is survived by: his son David W. Cockburn; his brother Ralph Cockburn; his wife Patricia Cockburn; his daughter Kimberly Cooper; his daughter-in-law Angie of Maine; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Hawkins (Lindsey), Tanner Cockburn (Brianna), Seth Cooper and Susanne Cooper. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
