He was predeceased by : his parents, Noah Samuel Hooker and Lillie Ann'Watson'Hooker; and his siblings, Thomas Albert Hooker and Mary Eunivea (Jesse Deal). He is survived by : his children, Darriel David Hooker II, Billie Hope Hooker and Misty Lee Hooker; and his siblings, Junior Avery Hooker (Minnie), Lester Lebronn Hooker, Martha Delaine Pullen, Vickie Sheryl Westmoreland and Teresia Lois Williams (John Paul). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, one uncle, and his beloved dog.

Visitation was held on Thursday, July 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Dalton Funeral Home (620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
