He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jackson and Cassie Jane White Vick; and his siblings, Edith Vick Roland, Juanita Vick Davis, Nell Vick, Troy Vick, Bobby Vick and Gene Vick.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Vick; his children, Eddy Vick (Tish Black), Deetra (Mike Foster) and Angie (Chris Wilbanks); his sisters, Marlene Vick Hewitt of Dalton and Brenda Vick Collis of Jasper; and also, Phil and Luann Philyaw. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren: nephew.
