He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred Hamlin; his son Wayne Hamlin; his parents, Freddie Hamlin and Vada Hamlin; and his siblings, Talmadge Hamlin and Vera Mitchell.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary Hamlin (Linda) and Barry Hamlin (Cindy); his grandchildren, Angie Rainwater (Blake) and Jeff Hamlin (Sandi); and his great grandchildren, Mackenzie Rainwater, Tyler Hamlin, Savannah Hamlin and Aubrie Gordon.
