With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Griswell Jr. of Covington, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on December 16, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Loretta Brooks and Bill Griswell; his siblings, Carolyn Griswell and Randy Griswell; and his son Randy Griswell.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Griswell; his daughters, Judy McGiboney and Darlene Smith; his grandchildren, Kenny Cartledge, Chase McGiboney, Andrea Fuesting, Brandy Casey and Hunter Smith; his great grandchildren, Kayla, Brittany, Noah, Lilly, Austin, Dylan and Madison; his great great grandchildren, De Angelo and Kay Loni; and his siblings, Barbara Staples, Dianne Kuykendall, Robert Griswell, Ricky Griswell, James Huffman and DeeDee Day. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Central Church (11157 City Pond Rd, Covington, GA 30014).
