He was predeceased by: his former wife Carol Faye Kent; and his son Thomas Randall Kent. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Kent; his children, Kenneth "Danny" Kent, Kimberly Urla of Covington and Melissa Urla; his grandchildren, Justin, Joshua, Aiden and Addison; his great grandchild Evelyn; and his siblings, Kathryn Christian of Huntsville, Robert L. "Skeet" Kent, Jr and Bonnie Morgan.
