It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Hanson of Covington, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Don, Mike, Janie and Susie. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Hanson; his daughter Regina Hammonds; his grandson Ricky Childs (Jennifer); his great grandchildren, Brody, Austyn and Charley; and his siblings, Ben Hanson (Janice), Alice Wynn and Molly Hunt. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many close friends.
