She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Thompson and Carl Thompson; her husband Zelmer Knight; her daughter Marsha Barts; her son-in-law Billy Barts; and her siblings, Ray Thompson, Golden Thompson, James Thompson, Charlie Thompson, Winston Thompson, Eugene Thompson and Gaynell Hanson.
She is survived by: her daughter Connie; her son-in-law Steve Head of Covington, GA; her grandchildren, Jason Head (Covington), Jeremy Head (McDonough), Casey Barts (Senoia), Megan Barts (Covington) and Ashley Barts (Monticello); her great grandchildren, Wynter Barts, Ethan Barts, Gracie Barts, Mallory Head and Hunter Head; her great great grandchildren, Summer Heinrich and Asher Grady; and her sisters, Evelyn Stapp and Juliette Boss. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Meadows Funeral Home (760 State Hwy 11, Monroe, GA 30655). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
