“It does hurt going through losses/current loss & ppl kept saying “So sorry for your loss”. I understand it’s natural & some don’t know what to say expect the same repeated phrase not meaning any harm. When going through stages of grief, there are days I feel angry with the “sorry for your loss”. I know it comes from a good place & ppl mean well but it still hurts. I just want to scream out to everyone “I didn’t ‘lose’ my loved one, no! Bc they’re gone! It’s not like keys you can find later…”

“My Mom’s name was Wanda Ann McAfee (her maiden name was McGuire before my Dad). My Dad’s name was Allen McAfee. My Grandma’s name was Barbara Ann Crawford before she married my grandfather, Cleophus Lee McGuire. My Aunt Angel Lucus..many more losses, & they were all members of the Baptist Tabernacle off the access RD in Covington, GA for over 50yrs. That’s not including all 6 of my angel babies in heaven & my other family who just passed…”
