He was predeceased by: his parents, R. L. Housworth, Sr. and Gladys Stubbs; and his granddaughter Allison Grace Tomlin. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Chambers Housworth; his sister Evelyn Plott; his stepsister Mona Smith (Cecil); his brother George Housworth (Marie); his children, Rhonda Housworth Tomlin (Robert) and Rob Housworth (Melanie); his grandchildren, Evan Tomlin (Cristen), Austin Tomlin, Megan Batten (Cody), Laurel Housworth, Cameron Tomlin (Harley), Ashley Housworth, Logan Tomlin, Reagan Tomlin, Shelby Housworth and Kathryn Tomlin; and his nephews, Donnie Compton (Jane), Tony Compton (Linda) and Ronnie Compton (Jo Ann).
