Retha Runell Adams Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Retha Runell Adams of Covington, Georgia, who passed away on September 28, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mannen Mikel Carter and Lottie Mae Lee Carter; her husband William Mason Adams; and her siblings, Bobby Norris Carter, Cynthia Carter and Elna Carter Whitfield.
She is survived by: her son Jeffrey Mason Adams (Teresa); her grandsons, Robert Mason Adams (Julie) and Richard Lee Adams (Kendall); and her siblings, Francine Bennett (late Gene), Myra Tucker (late Lannie), Wanda Davis (Ken), Lawanna Cook (Eddie), Deloyce Underwood (Russ) and Roger Carter (Nola Mae). She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Family's Residence (10579 Central Ave, Waycross, GA 31503). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the High Bluff Primitive Baptist Church (1170 High Bluff Rd, Hoboken, GA 31542).
