He was predeceased by: his parents, John Calvin Sprayberry, Sr. and Opal Piper Sprayberry. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Peek of Milledgeville; his son Scotty Sprayberry, Jr. of Porterdale; his siblings, Regina Sprayberry Temples (Dwayne) of Eatonton, Myra Denise May of Covington, David, Phyllis Peek and Johnny Sprayberry, Jr. (Diane) of Talladega, AL; his parents-in-law, Alva and Evelyn Peek; his grandchildren, Dylan Streeter, Jeffrey Smith, Lukas Dearman, Kyler Dearman, Zoe Smith, Malachi Sprayberry, Elizabeth Sprayberry and Hannah Sprayberry; his close friends, Jack and Sue Wright; his caregiver Becky Pirkle; and also David Peek of Oxford.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home & Crematory - Milledgeville (1670 N Jefferson St NE, Milledgeville, GA 31061). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested contributions be made to Animal Rescue Foundation of Milledgeville.
