He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leroy Shannon and Frances Shannon (McVey); his wife Kathleen Shank of Covington, GA; his children, Jenny Mae Mangum (Brandon Lackey) of Covington, GA and Joshua "Stik" Mangum (Casey) of Covington, GA; his siblings, Lonnie Shannon of Des Moines, IA, Jim Shank of Columbia, IA, John Shank of Tallahassee, FL, Terri McAtee of Colfax, IA and Gigi Shank of Des Moines, IA; and his grandchildren, Micah Lackey, Bradyn Lackey, Kylei Price, Sklya Mangum, Ava Mangum and Sophia Pearl Lackey. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
