It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Osie Lewis (Covington, Georgia), born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on March 16, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Osie Lewis and Murleen Lay Lewis; and his sister Sally Duvall. He is survived by: his wife Janice Sheriff Lewis of Covington; his children, Juanita Laudette of Woodstock, Donovan Bruce (Kara) of Covington, Osie Lewis Jr. of Covington, Natalie Lewis of Conyers, Virginia Lewis (Ed) of Gwinnett, Miriam Gunter (Terrell) of Jefferson, Laura Hedrick (Chris) of Commerce and Corey McCarthy (Chad) of Jefferson; and his siblings, Ricky, Terry, Sue, Lucy, Teresa and Avana. He is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren; his brother.
