It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtie Hamby of Covington, Georgia, who passed away on February 17, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Johnnie Hamby; and her parents, Mildred White and Joseph Eugene Withers. She is survived by: her children, Nola Zimmer, Jodi Morris, Andrew (Donna Eason) and Matthew (Shirley Eason); her siblings, Jo Jean Smith, Marie Withers and Dewey; her sister-in-law Anita Withers; and her stepchildren, April, Rick Stafford and Fawn Wofford. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make donations to their local Humane Society.
