She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Blalock and Brownie Smith; her husband John West Jr.; her son Toney Blalock; and her sister Sarah Florence Thomas (Willie James).
She is survived by: her daughters, Loretta Blalock (Milous), Benita West and Sherry West (Larry); her daughter-in-law Donna Blalock (Toney); her siblings-in-law, Carolyn Johnson (Ralph) and Harvey West; her cousins, Charlie Mae Ponder and Lizzie Ruth Smith; and her close friend Oscar Giles. She is also survived by 16 Grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 9 great-greatgrandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
