It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Madgeline Sherod (Covington, Georgia), born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on November 13, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Linwood Turner and Marion Turner. She is survived by: her husband Johnny Lee Sherod of Alcolu; her children, James Turner, Terrence Sherod (Teresa), Maureen Harriott (Doug), Kevin Sherod (Karyn) and Alicia Sherod; her grandchildren, Jamel, Rachel, Shaniece, Kaleem, Lovonda, Shaunte, Charisse, Shawn Jr., Brittany, Jasmine, Kierra, Kevin Jr. and Anaya; and her brothers, Booker T Bell (Tonella) and Edward Harrison. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren.
