She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Jenkins and Mattie Jenkins; her siblings, Moses Jenkins and Jeannette Govan; her children, Stanley Howard, Holley Howard and Maxwell Howard III; and her grandson Maxwell Kenneth Howard.
She is survived by: her husband Maxwell Howard, Jr.; her brother Theodore Jenkins (Alice); and her children, Maxine Guevara (Julio), Margaret Howard, Sheila Howard, Rosemary Cook and Michael Howard (Dawn). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
