She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil Pless; and her siblings, Barney George, R. G. George, Louise Hamby, Dorothy Jean Taylor, Pauline Jenkins and Obera Wilson.
She is survived by: her sons, Tony Pless, James Brown (Laura Anne) and Cris Brown (Yishan). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
