He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ritter Shaw and Charles Shaw; and his wife Margaret "Peggy" Shaw. He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Whitlow; his siblings, Susan Kamas (Christopher), Timothy Shaw (Faith) and Scott Shaw (Deborah); his son Chuck Shaw; and his grandsons, Tucker and Maddox Whitlow.
