She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Ewing and Grace Ewing; her husband Don Barnes; and her brothers, Alton Ewing and Charles Ewing.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elaine Edwards (Mike) of Hixson, TN and Donna Faye Sowell (Jim) of Lilburn, GA; her sibling Mort Ewing (Faye) of Covington, GA; and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Ewing and Zelna Ewing. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members, and close friends.
If you are sick, not feeling well, or have any symptoms of COVID 19, please do not attend the service or services. If you feel the need to wear a mask, please do so.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to Rainbow Homeless Shelter located at, 7154 Turner Lake Circle SW.
