She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bates and Nellie Gallops; her significant other Ted Unthank; her granddaughter Americas Bates; and her sister Sharon Rodriguez.
She is survived by: her children, Courtney Bates (Cody), Joshua Fox, Dakotah Gossett and Victoria Gossett; her grandchildren, Bailey Bates, Kymberlyn Fox and Able Bates; and her siblings, Priscilla Gandy (Robert), Sherry Sharp (Don), Nancy Price (Billy) and Michael McDaniel. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members, and close friends.
