It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Powell (Covington, Georgia), born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hollis Pemberton and Betty Ruth Pemberton; her stepfather Bruce Cumbie; her granddaughters, Angel Hope and Elliana Mayela; and her siblings, Deborah George and Roy Pemberton.
She is survived by: her daughter Amanda Whitaker; her grandchildren, Ryan, Everett, Ella, Annabelle, Kinsley and Roberto; and her siblings, Hollis Pemberton, Timothy Pemberton, Morris George, Glen Pemberton, Valerie Johnson, Ann Pemberton and Connie Merrit. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and close friends.
