He is survived by: his son Danny G.; his daughter-in-law Phyllis Mitchell of Conyers; his daughter Janet A.; his son-in-law Clark Vickery of Griffin; his son Leonard Jantzen Mitchell of Covington; his grandchildren, Christopher Mitchell, Elizabeth, Scott Craig, Nicholas Mitchell, Michael, Stephanie Mitchell, Scott Mitchell, Calvin, Katie Mitchell, Kara, Nick Merck, Janice, Dan Holden and Stephanie Amber Mitchell; and his sister Lula Mitchell of Covington. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
