He was predeceased by : his parents, Rose McGregor Cox and Leland Stanford Cox, Jr.; and his son Tony Cox. He is survived by : his wife Mary Cox; his son Jonathon Fouasse (Jessica); and his grandchildren, Devon Fouasse and Cody Fouasse.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Meadows Funeral Home (760 State Hwy 11 #2128, Monroe, GA 30655). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home (760 State Hwy 11 #2128, Monroe, GA 30655). A burial was held on Thursday, June 20th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the National Memorial Cemetery.
