It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lee Carter Jr. of Covington, Georgia, who passed away on April 17, 2022, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Karen Carter of Covington; his daughter Tiffany; his son-in-law Dustin Gowan of Monroe; his son Jacob Lee Carter of Covington; his mother Patricia Ann Mitchely (Burdette) of Monroe; his sisters, Kelly Carter of Monroe, Shelley Carter of Loganville and Jenna; his brother-in-law Mark Wade of Loganville; his brother Ricky; his sister-in-law Monica Carter of Covington; and his grandchildren, Bryce Gowan and Teagan Gowan. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; numerous family and friends.
