He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Griffith and Alice Griffith; his sister Alene Brand; and his granddaughter Jessica Sue Lauren Jones. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Capes Cross; his children, Judy Diana Jones and Joshua Daniel Griffith; his sister Faye Ridling; his granddaughter Christina Lynn Jones; his great grandchild Kastiel Lamar Soley; his grandchildren, Chase Aslinger, Natalie Carter, Addison Smith and Max Smith; his brother-in-law Monty Capes (Cori); and also Glenda Burleson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
