He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thompson and Arietta Thompson; his son Steven Thompson; his grandson Parks Heard Brown, III; and his siblings, Ruth Ricks and Richard Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Studdard Thompson; his children, Ray Thompson and Joy Thompson Brown (Parks Brown, Jr.); his granddaughters, Elizabeth Thompson Kolenut (Kris) and Hannah Brown Uhlig (Davis); and his great grandchildren, Jasper Michael Kolenut, Ava Hope Brown, James Walker Uhlig, Lacey Joy Brown and Iyla Jane Kolenut. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and close friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Studdard Cemetery.
