He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Collins and Nannie Ruth Collins; his siblings, Kermit Collins, Hazel Kerbow and Emma Durden; and his daughters, Denise Thompson and Stephanie Stephenson.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Collins of Covington; and his stepchildren, Nickie Lott of Conyers, Pate, James and Crystal Stevens of Covington. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
