With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of JoAnn Martin in Covington, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 25, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hess and Imogene Hess; and her son George L. Martin III. She is survived by: her husband George L. Martin Jr.; her daughter-in-law Sheryl Martin; her daughter Ann Floyd; her son-in-law Robin Floyd; her grandchildren, Marie Martin, Adam Martin, Chad Floyd and Dustin Floyd; and her great grandchildren, Samuel Martin, David Martin, Levi Martin, William Martin, Hailey Floyd, Linley Floyd, Jackson Floyd, Cooper Floyd and Griffin Floyd.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations can be made in Joann's name to Church at the Grove.
