He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Lee Thacker Baker and Dennis Walter Baker; and his brother Raymond Larry Baker. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Baker of Covington; his children, Arlene (Lynn Head), Rhonda Allgood of Covington, Walter (Marie Baker), Jeff (Patty Baker) and Wade (Tammy Baker); and his siblings, Dimple Crawford (Rayburn Crawford), Joyce (Burnett), Jean (Billy Hudson), Brenda (Gary Armistead), Ted (Linda Baker), Nevin (Mary Alice Baker) and Gary (Miriam Baker). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Hilltop Holiness Church 417 Hwy 81 SW Covington, GA 30014.
