It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Yancey of Covington, Georgia, who passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Ann Yancey (White); his son Scott Yancey; and his parents, Jake Yancey and Lucille Yancey (Glaze). He is survived by: his children, Amanda (Stacy Reed), Candy (Scott Kelley) and Shane; his daughter-in-law Julie Yancey of Loganville; and his sister Roberta Lindsey of Oxford. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; numerous family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Extra.
