It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Turbyfield of Covington, Georgia, who passed away on August 5, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Turbyfield and Elizabeth Livingston Turbyfield; and his brother Kenneth Turbyfield. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Turbyfield; his children, Shawn Turbyfield of Covington, Shannon Read of Covington and Shea Garrett (Greg) of Covington; his grandchildren, Marideth and William; and his siblings, Pat Gordon and William Turbyfield. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
